Our On-Site Services

If you need to train a group of people, we offer on-site training in First Aid CPR - AED. On-site training reduces cost by saving travel time and related expenses. Red Cross On-site training also provides the flexability of training to your busy schedules.

All employers who are subject to the Occupational Health and Safety Act must comply with Regulation 1101 under Section 3 of the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act. The specific obligations that apply to your business are described in detail in the brochure, First Aid Requirements (Regulation 1101)

Emergency First Aid CPR/AED

This eight hour course is designed to provide a good understanding of First Aid and CPR. This course meets the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario (WSIB) requirements.

Standard First Aid CPR/AED

This two day course is for people who want a more in-depth knowledge of first aid. This course meets the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario (WSIB) requirements.

Oxygen (O2) Administration

The course covers how to operate oxygen devices and handling breathing devices. Participants also learn how to respond and treat respiratory emergencies.

People who need to manage oxygen in the workplace should attend this course. The student must hold a current CPR Level C or HCP.

CPR A, C, HCP - AED

CPR-A(Adult):

Teaches how to do CPR and choking procedures for adults and introduces the purpose of an AED and when to use it.

  • Adult CPR - one rescuer
  • Adult choking
  • Barrier devices / pocket masks
  • AED
  • Rescue breathing is not taught at this level

CPR-C(Adult, Child, Infant):

This is the same as level A with the added skills of Infant CPR, Child CPR, two rescuer CPR and rescue breathing.

  • Adult/child/infant CPR - one rescuer
  • Adult/child/infant choking
  • Barrier devices / pocket masks
  • AED
  • Rescue breathing may be taught at this level
  • Adult/child - two rescuer CPR (30:2 ratio only)

CPR-HCP (Adult, Child & Infant, AR, AED, BVM):

Covers all aspects of CPR including rescue breathing and the use of AEDs and BVMs. This Health Care Provider (HCP) level is designed specifically for those who as part of the job description as Health Care Providers have a duty to respond to medical emergencies (e.g., doctors, nurses, paramedics, police and firefighters).

  • Adult/child/infant CPR - one rescuer
  • Adult/child/infant choking
  • Barrier devices / pocket masks
  • AED
  • Rescue breathing is taught at this level
  • Adult/child/infant - two rescuer CPR
        (30:2 Adult - 15:2 child and infant)
  • BVM (Bag Valve Mask)
  • This level meets all ILCOR guidelines
